In this course you will be making a 10x10 inch 3d paper mosaic . You can select any one pattern from the choices give . Material will be provided.

My child hood fascination with paper crafts like origami or paper mache has always been there and till now this medium has never failed to surprise me. And than in my late 30s I stumbled upon new art forms in paper like quilling and paper cutting . It intrigues me that a simple appear can be used in so many different ways and each time it gives a different effect.

It amazes me that with thin stripes of paper one can create such intricate art work . I have been experimenting with quilling techniques from last 5 years . creating art work by using only spiral fold and creating portraits from quilling being my personal take on this art form. The other paper art which fascinates me is paper cutting . By using a simple craft knife one can carve and create most intricate patterns . By practicing this art form I get the satisfaction of indulging both in drawing as well as crafts.
