The Fair provides an ideal platform for various Government Department to educate the public about the various welfare schemes and development programmes undertaken by the Government.

➢ On War memorial side, more than 48 Government Departments / Undertakings have erected their pavilions and showcausing their departmental welfare scheme activities.

➢ On Rear side, 100 small shops and 30 Private Pavilions were erected in this Fair for selling various home appliances, materials, fancy items, etc.

➢ Various types of exhibition snacks items selling like Appalam, Pajji, Cauliflower Pakoda, Sugarcane Juice, Palkova, Cholapoori, Paniyaram, Ice Creams, etc.

➢ TTDC will be organizing variety Cultural Programmes like Classical Dance, Folk Dance, Dramas and Light Music of eminent artists who will perform daily from 6.00 Pm to 9.00 Pm in Anna Kalai Arangam stage at Island Grounds for the entertainment for the public visiting the Fair.

➢ Dog Shows performed on every Sunday’s and Government holidays @ 6.00 Pm nearby Police pavilion.

➢ More than 30 varieties of amusement rides for children and Adults.

➢ Kids Mini Train, Fish Show, Horror Show, Snow World, Magic Show, 3D Show, Science Show, etc. have also been provided in this Fair.

➢ Transport facilities are provided by the Metro Transport Corporation during the Fair period for the benefit of public on War Memorial side entrance and also at Mount Road side entrance of the Island Ground.

TTDC Drive-in-Restaurant also operates the Coffee House, Barbeque Counter for providing hygienic and multi cuisine variety of Veg and Non-veg foods.
