We're skipping that Saturday night party to climb up to a plateau - Prabalmachi - on a lovely moonlit night, stay over in a little village and wake up at sunrise for a challenging trek to the peak of Kalavantin Durg!

ITINERARY

Saturday - 23rd April

5 pm: Our private bus will pick you up from pre-decided pick up points and head towards the base village - Thakurwadi

7 pm: We reach Thakurwadi village and eat a light snack before the ascend

7.40 pm: We start ascending towards Prabalmachi - a beautiful plateau that is actually the base village for our trek to Kalavantin Durg. Trekking exciting at this point as you can see the moon rising from behind the mountains, and the low light adds to the thrill!

9.45 pm: At Prabalmachi, a delicious local dinner will be served

10.30 pm: Just hang around at Prabalmachi and chat up with fellow trekkers. Let's play a game or two or hear interesting stories! Sleep over in the village dorm for a few hours

Sunday - 24th April

5 am: Wake up! It's time to conquer the mighty Kalavantin Durg! Just before the break of dawn, start ascending to reach the pinaccle of the fort

7 am: Enjoy the view from up there! Soak in the gorgeous sunrise and then start descending to get back to Prabalmachi.

9 am: After a hearty breakfast, we start walking down to get to the base village

11 am: The bus is waiting for you. Hop on and get back home with weary feet but fond memories of the trek :)

Travel via private a/c bus, evening snack, dinner and next morning breakfast, stay in village dormatories, trek expertise and safety
