In a moderately sized town in Kerala, Tina arrives at her family home with the news of her divorce. Her Ammachi, a domineering matriarch, is against divorce and looks at it with disgust. At no cost would she let this kind of disgrace blemish the family name. The issue becomes bigger than Tina had imagined and brings out a lot of insanity which has perhaps always been in the family. How the family takes matters into their own hands to find what they think is a solution forms the crux of this darkly comic play. The play explores the narrow-mindedness and false sense of honour that prevails in the family. In a story that is presented to be as relatable and familiar as possible, there are segments of absolute absurdity to reflect upon some of the absurd ways human minds work in.
