Do you love listening to Blues and Jazz and always wanted to find out the history behind it? Or maybe some of the techniques used to make songs from that genre?

Well the wait is over! HivePad and Furtados School of Music have come together to bring you just the workshop you have been looking forward to! An introductory music workshop on Blues and Jazz conducted by the experts from Furtados School! They will be talking about the history of these two genres of music, the techniques and influences, help you understand a basic framework, trivia, facts and lots more! To top it all, we will have a Q&A about blues and jazz and our very own at home concert to sum up everything discussed! 

About the Experts:

Priyadarshi Baraily hailing from Darjeeling has been a music educator for almost 10 years and is currently working with Furtados School of Music in Mumbai. He is a Trinity College certified Grade 8 classical guitarist. He has also completed his Sangeet Visharad from Bangiya Parishad. Apart from teaching, he has been a part of multiple bands since his school days and currently works as a freelance guitarist. His major influences are Shakti with John Mclaughlin, Iron Maiden, John Williams , Guthrie Govan and a lot more.

Ebenezer has been a student of Martin Luther Christian University completing his M.A. in Music. He has also been part of organising blues workshop and performing live. He also has LCM, RGT, Grade 8 Guitar Exam Certification which he passed which distinction. Currently, Ebenezer is very much involved in writing and producing music with “Tribes”. He has been teaching for 6 years now to various students of different age groups and curates study material and course material according to the pace and adaptation of the student.
