Anuraga translates to attachment, affection, desire, or love. In this solo presentation by Maithri, you will watch various compositions that portray attachment and love in many forms. From portraying devotion towards God to showcasing the beautiful bond between a mother and a child, and the possessive love for objects by kids, Anuraaga takes you on a journey filled with emotions. Maithri will present a few experimental compositions that have received accolades from many.

About the performer - 

Maithri Rao is a Bharatanatyam artist, yoga practitioner, choreographer, and artistic director of Shivansh School of Arts & Team Shivansh. Trained for over 20 + years under various prominent teachers from Bangalore and Mysore, Maithri has been honoured with the Yuvashri Award, Stri Shakti Award and National Nritya Mani Award. She has performed in various prestigious stages as a solo artist, and worked in 2 dance films which have won international awards, she was the only dancer from Hyderabad who was part of the inaugural musical of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Mumbai. Shivansh School of Arts founded by Maithri Rao imparts training in Bharatanatyam, Yoga, and Carnatic music.

She along with her Team has performed in many prestigious platforms like TedX Hyderabad, RBI conference, Lonavala, Pride of Telangana awards, Statue of Equality and many more
