About the Event

Situated on the banks of Yamuna River, Ram Bagh is the oldest Mughal garden and one of the eminent Persian-styled gardens. They were founded in the 16th century by Emperor Babur, the founder of the Mughal dynasty in India. Popularly known as Aram Bagh, the park was built to entertain the emperor's guests. Originally, the garden was called Bagh-i-Gul Afshan, which means 'Light-Scattering Garden'. Its name changed to Ram Bagh during the 18th century when the garden was in control of the Marathas.
