Art Mumbai is the city’s first art fair that is taking place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse Member’s Enclosure from November 17-19, 2023. Across the four days there will be opportunities to engage with art in exciting and meaningful ways. Over 50 galleries are showcasing modern, contemporary, indigenous and antique art for sale. There will also be an engaging on-site speaker series, which includes 12 workshops, panels and masterclasses and musical performances. Finally, there will be themed walks of the fair every two hours that provide an in depth understanding of what’s on display.

Art Mumbai is an art fair that brings the best of South Asian art from across the world to Mumbai. All the works on display are available for sale. In addition to the art showcases, there will be onsite programming such as talks, music and walks, to increase awareness and appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of South Asia in general, as well as Mumbai specifically.

Q. What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Good shoes are a must, expect to walk quite a bit. 

Q. Can I bring my children?

Of course, Art Mumbai is open to all! We even have special themed walks and workshops for children of various ages. 

Q. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the entire venue is wheelchair accessible. 

Q. Will you check my bag at the entry?

Yes we will check all bags at the entrance to ensure that there are no dangerous or illegal elements. Your safety and the safety of all our patrons is of the utmost importance to us. 

Q. Can I sign up for a walk at the venue?

Yes you can, but we recommend registering beforehand as each timeslot is filled on a first come first served basis.
