About the Event

The story is about comedy of errors where Babu Badrinath, a resident from Lucknow goes missing. His son announced a cash prize for the person who will bring his father back. Some greedy men try to get the prize money by wrong means. The story has a twist in the tale when 3 identical persons claim to be real father. So, let’s find out who the real father is.

K. P. Saxena was a Lucknow based satirist and writer. He was employed by the Indian Railways and was a prolific writer for magazines and newspapers.

He started writing for Doordarshan's famous serial Bibi Natiyon Wali. He wrote vyangya (hindi satire) articles for almost every popular magazine of Hindi. His style was unique and he was very popular among poets in Kavi Sammelans. He was an expert of three Indian languages Urdu, Hindi and Awadhi. He was awarded Padma Shri by Government of India, in year 2000.

Hi did filmography for Lagaan, Swades, Hulchul Johdaa Akbar and other movies.


About the artist-

Amar Sah stepped into the world of theatre since 2008. Being a versatile actor, he has shown his acting skills time and again by portraying tragic as well as comic characters with equal ease. He started direction in 2012. The plays under his direction has won accolades of audience and won many awards at national theatre festivals and competitions. He has initiated the concept of Gali Theatre in Delhi. Amar Sah has been felicitated by Kanti Krishn Samman at Chhotanagpur Natya Mahotsav, Ranchi for his contribution towards enrichment of theatre. His plays “Maskhare” and “Men Without Shadows” have won hearts all over and he received a lot of accolades for his design and direction. Apart from direction, Amar Sah is a playwright as well.


He is also well versed in back stage activities and has an expertise in costume and set designing. Amar Sah has worked as a Stage Manager in Sindhi Drama Festival, Delhi for 3 years and also in Rangayana Theatre Festival, Bangalore.
