"Over the Stars" organized by Baba Presents, is the highly anticipated music tour featuring the legendary vocalist, violinist L. Shankar alongside esteemed members of the iconic fusion band Shakti, is set to captivate audiences across India.

Renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to world music, L. Shankar has garnered international acclaim with his transcendent compositions and virtuosic performances. With accolades including collaborations with music luminaries such as Peter Gabriel on the Grammy winning album Passion (1989), the soundtrack album for Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ (1989) and composing music for the 2005 Oscar winning documentary Born Into Brothels, Shankar continues to push the boundaries of musical expression.

Joining Shankar are Vikku Vinayakram, ghatam maestro and a founding member of Shakti and a Grammy Award winner, his son Selvaganesh (Grammy Award winner 2024), Fazal Qureshi, acclaimed tabla virtuoso and son of the illustrious Ustad Alla Rakha and Swaminathan Selvaganesh on kanjeera.
