Ulhas ji is a recipient of several awards such as Sangeet Natak Academy award, Pt.Bhimsen Joshi Jeevan Gaurav Puraskaar by the Govt. of Maharashtra, Pt. Omkarnath Thakur award by Gujarat Sangeet Natak Academy, Rashtriya Tansen Puraskar by the Madhya Pradesh Govt ,and Padmashree from Govt of India.
