The heritage and food walk in the Russell Market of Bangalore takes you through the diverse cultures of the city, it's oldest cathedrals and older temples and to top it all, it takes you to the best food joints to savour some of the tastiest food of the place. Being one of the oldest markets in Bangalore alongside Johnson market, Russell market has a classical architectural design that comes with an old-world charm. The variety and quantity of meat sold here have earned it the reputation of Bangalore’s biggest mutton, beef and fish market. Apart from being a traveller’s delight, the market is also ever-loved by foodies. This delightful walk also gives you an opportunity to munch on the kebabs, rolls and other delicacies at iconic eateries in the area, ending your trail on a flavoursome note.
