About the Event

"Best of Appurv Gupta" is a hilarious take on normal things in life that people usually ignore or never notice but when seen through the lens of an engineer, they realize how interesting small things can be.

After his two successful shows: AppurView - Laugh with an Engineer and RelationShip or RelationShit, Appurv has come up with the second installment of his first solo show, "Laugh with an Engineer."

In this show, Appurv will talk about something which you haven't heard from him and also he will share his favourite bits which he created in last 4 years of his journey of stand-up comedy. So don't miss this funny engineer. It is a brand new show so expect a lot of unheard jokes!

Comedy is not everybody’s cup of tea and it takes a very creative mind to perform stand-up. The Indian stand-up comedian Appurv Gupta biography is such a story. He went from being an engineer to a comedian and that was no easy task. He is one of the most recognized Indian male comedians that are celebrated for their fresh content. He is very active on Twitter and keeps on posting funny quips. He is among the top 20 Indian stand-up comedians and one of the front-runners in the batch of ‘Hinglish’ comedians and his story will possibly serve as an ideal tale of hope for young aspiring comedians who are weighing their options to enter the market.

Laughter Nation does the funny bit. They curate stand up comedy shows in Delhi/NCR, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Lucknow.

The Akshara Theatre is an exquisite arts complex set in just under one acre of land in the heart of New Delhi. It has four performance spaces for live performance equipped with the best lighting and sound equipment augmented a few years ago by a generous grant from the Government of Japan under its Cultural Grassroots Programme. It possesses a library, shooting and editing studios for television with the latest digital equipment, sound studios, workshops for set design, metal work and stone sculpture, as well as a studio for graphics design with computerized desktop publishing, and classrooms where the performing arts are taught to children and young people.
