India has been awarded the honour of hosting the IBA World Women’s Boxing Championships 2023. The Championships will be held from 15th – 26th March, 2023 in Delhi at the KD Jadhav Hall inside Indira Gandhi Stadium. The Championship is being organised by the Boxing Federation of India in association with Sports Authority of India and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. 

This championship is an important event that will showcase the talent and skills of women boxers from around the world. More than 350 boxers from 70 Countries will participate in this Championship and is a once in lifetime opportunity to witness World Champions and Olympic Medallists from around the world. 

The Opening ceremony of the event is scheduled at 5.30 pm on 15 March 2023 and will showcase some of the best national and international performers. Brand Ambassadors of the Championship, six times world champion, MC Mary Kom and renowned Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar will also be present during the Opening Ceremony.
