About the Event

If you, like us, have always been in awe and wonder of how your grandmother and mother have mastered the craft of Indian cooking without a recipe book in sight, then this discussion is here to debunk that mystery for you! Analytic, Systematic thinker, software engineer and passionate science buff Krish Ashok is here to do just that. Krish, who learnt to cook from all the women in his house, very early on realised that everything you learn in life is about the ‘first principles’ . It’s the most basic way to break down any concept to pick up any skill. From learning code to learning to make fluffy idlis, understanding the basic principles and science behind what goes into it is a battle half won! He is not a scientist but he can explain science with easy to understand clarity.


In this session, Krish Ashok breaks down the ‘Science of Indian Cooking’, and all the myths associated with the Indian kitchen. So keep your eyes peeled and ears wide open for a rather interesting session of science made fun.
