About the Event
Spend your weekend with Jack & Hill Adventures on an exciting trek to Kalavantin Durg in the serene Sahyadri forest of Maharashtra. If you haven't heard about 'Kalvantin Durg', you should know that #Buzzfeed ranked this exotic destination at #11 in their blog on most beautiful abandoned places in the world!
Your Saturday begins with a short evening trek to the Prabalmachi Plateau that is placed just underneath the Kalavantin Pinnacle. Gorge on some of the most delicious Maharashtrian food prepared by the villagers indigenous to the mountain. Pitch tents & snuggle into a sleeping bag under a magical carpet of dimly lit stars. As the sun soars the next morning, a climb to the summit of Kalavantin Durg at approx 1700 ft will deliver you with the most overwhelming views in the kingdom.
Do all this with the most chirpiest bunch of mountain loving people!

If you are involved in any sort of activity that keeps you even the tiniest bit of fit, this ride is ideal to start off with. Couch potatoes & folks that live a sedentary life could have a tough time on this event. We will be covering a distance of 38 Kms from start to end. This is a doable distance for beginners and can be covered much easier than expected. If you have any apprehensions about joining, please do feel free to get in touch with our team.

Return to Mumbai (Borivali station)
Each participant shall receive an individual Sleeping bags will be provide at the beginning of the trip at Borivali and must be returned at the end of the trip.
