On the way from Pune to Lonavala, there is a ghat section near Khandala with hills on one side and deep valley with waterfalls on the other. Ulhas river originates from this valley and thus called as Ulhas valley or Canyon valley or Tiger valley.

With a height of 320 feet, Canyon Valley Waterfall happens to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls located close to the city and is the only waterfall active even during summer.

Canyon valley trek surprises you with its features. Unlike other treks, you descend first , cross the river and then ascend. Descend is from Lonavla and the trek ends at Khandala near Kamat restaurant. There are 10-12 rock patches to ascend and descend.

With November soon approaching, we will be in much cooler weather and the chance to get into the outdoors.

Day 1

Our private bus will do the pickup from Restaurant Blue Nile

6:30 am : Departure from Pune

(Pick up points on the way)

9:00 pm : Reach trek start point

Trek starts after briefing.

12:30 - 1:00 pm : Lunch (must be carried by every participant)

1:00 pm - 4:30 pm : Return to the bus

4:30 pm - 5:00 pm : Tea and biscuits

5:00 pm - Depart for Pune

8 pm : Reach Pune

Trip facilities:

• Travel and toll: Pick up and drop off from our selected pick up points

• Mineral water for drinking throughout the trip.

• Tour guides and camp leaders all along the trip.

Things to carry:

1) Trekking bag for all your belongings and one small sling bag (optional) to carry during the trek

2) Plastic bag to cover your electronic gadgets

3) Please wear light colored clothing pref. dry fit clothes with one spare set to change into after the trek

4) Good hiking or sports shoes

12) One liter water bottle (COMPULSORY)

IMPORTANT:

We will be having a late lunch, please carry snacks to munch on during the trek.

You do not have to carry your trekking bag all along the way. You can leave it back in the bus safely during the trek.

Please take care of all your belongings.

Notify us immediately in case of any medical emergency.

Anyone found under the influence of drugs or narcotics will be requested to leave the trip immediately, without any refund.

Adventure camping and outdoor sports/ recreation is purely for nature lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to spread the awareness about wilderness preservation.

We like to keep the wildlife wild, please do not litter the forest/ sanctuary and the campsite.
