Calling all coffee lovers and art enthusiasts for the Design Your Own Bag with Coffee Workshop, where you will get to learn coffee painting with deaf artist Amit Vardhan. Make some amazing tote bags to flaunt your style and love for coffee, as in this one-day workshop, participants will be guided through a step-by-step, hands-on approach to coffee painting. Amit will begin with how to obtain different natural colours from coffee.

Participants will learn to paint in a straight line, motifs, and full all-over-pattern. Once the technical part is covered, they will let your creativity take over. At the end of it, you’ll be able to add a personal touch to your clothes, home linen, even your stationery!

About the artist- A Fine Arts postgraduate, Amit Vardhan, started painting with coffee as an experiment. To externalise his love for coffee, he started painting with coffee on canvas bags and toting them around. Soon, he discovered the 20th-century Thai art of Arfe. Currently, Amit is working as a designer at Atulyakala, a design house run by deaf artists. He promises that painting with freshly brewed coffee is a unique addictive medium and once you get hooked, there is no going back!
