End the weekend by joining and becoming one with the drum circle community. You could be a seasoned drummer or someone who taps on the table whenever a rhythm plays or neither of them and an absolute beginner. This workshop is open for all ages and can be a means for release, relaxation, building music understanding, and having fun while at it. Anyone in the drum circle can take the lead and offer cues to rest of the participants to follow for different rhythms. This drum jam will also have members of Floyd's academy of music to set the rhythm. Everyone who comes and participates has something to offer to the circle, and everyone is welcome to join it. Participants need to bring along any simple plastic bucket or any type of drumming instrument they have (drums/tabla/bongo/percussion/mridangam/djembe/cajon etc).

Please don't underestimate the utility and effect of buckets in this workshop, so don't hesitate to bring it along..just ensure it is of plastic and no other material. Come over and see how seamlessly and naturally you can be a drum jammer!
