What is Pawga, anyway?

Pawga was started in 2020 to help shelter pets socialise, find forever homes, and raise funds for shelters. We pioneered puppy yoga in India and gradually introduced other experiences to help more people from different walks of life connect with and experience the joy of shelter puppies.

What happens at Art with Puppies/Dogs at Pawga?

At Pawga’s Paint/Art with Puppies, it’s not just about learning to draw and paint. You’ll receive all the art supplies from us and will be invited to paint based on mindful prompts specially designed for the event.

These prompts are created to help bring your innermost thoughts and feelings to life on your canvas. And the best part — the puppies and dogs from the shelter will be running around you, helping to break the ice and warm your heart.

Please note that there may be small puppies, big puppies, and older dogs too. We love them in all sizes — and hope you do as well. All the pets at the event are available for adoption.

But why on earth should I join Pawga?

Ummm… because we’re cool. Kidding! (Not really.)

All the puppies and older dogs you see at Pawga are from your local animal shelter. They are all up for adoption, and the best part is that a portion of your ticket goes towards the welfare of animals at the shelter. In Ahmedabad, we work closely with Jivdaya and multiple foster groups.

Why does any of this matter amidst all my existential crises and joys?

Because sometimes you shouldn’t worry too much about the ‘because’.

Because, at some level, you know you need to contribute to your wellness and take care of yourself.

Because these puppies and dogs don’t always get the affection they deserve — and even if you can’t fully understand it, your presence might just be the best day of their life.

Please also note that the event is for 60 minutes. You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early (we recommend this) and stay 15–20 minutes after the end time.
