What is Pawga, anyway?

Pawga was started in 2020 to help shelter pets socialise, find their forever homes, and raise funds for shelters. We pioneered puppy yoga in India and gradually introduced other experiences to help people from different walks of life interact with and experience the joy of shelter puppies.

What happens at Art with Puppies/Dogs at Pawga?

At Pawga’s Paint/Art with Puppies sessions, it’s not just about learning to draw or paint. All art supplies will be provided by us, and you’ll be encouraged to paint based on mindful prompts specially designed for the event.

These prompts are crafted to help bring your innermost thoughts and feelings to the surface — and onto your canvas. And the best part? Puppies and dogs from local shelters will be running around you, helping to break the ice and lighten the mood.

Please also note that there may be small puppies, big puppies, and older dogs at the event. We love them in all shapes and sizes — and we hope you will too! These pets are currently up for adoption at the shelter.

But why should I join Pawga?

Umm… because we’re cool! (Kidding… but not really.)

All the puppies and older dogs you’ll meet at Pawga are from local animal shelters and foster homes. They are all looking for a loving home, and the best part is that a portion of your ticket fee goes towards the welfare of animals at these shelters in Pune.

Why does any of this matter amidst all my existential crises and joys?

Because sometimes you don’t need to overthink the ‘because’.

Because, deep down, you know you need to prioritise your well-being and show up for yourself.

Because these puppies and dogs don’t always receive the affection they deserve — and even if they can’t say it, meeting you might just be the best day of their lives.

The event will run for 60 minutes. You’re welcome to arrive 15 minutes early (we recommend it!) and stay for 15–20 minutes after the session ends.
