08:00am – We meet at Panvel Railway Station Ticket Counter, excited for the refreshing trek ahead. We start moving towards Karnala In a private vehicle.
08:30- We reach Karnala, get our security checks and entries done at Karnala Forest Office. Have a brief introduction. Click pictures near the entry board and enter the sanctuary where refreshing hot tea and delicious breakfast would be ready for us. Watch different species of birds, rabbits playing in their cages and peacocks dancing, which are preserved in the sanctuary.
09:30 – Lets begin our endeavor to capture Karnala fort. It’s a 1.5-2 hrs easy level trek with muddy and small rocky patches. We may witness many different species of birds playing around and their soothing voices.
11:30 – Hurray! We are atop and it’s now time to relax watching gazing at the scenic and mighty matheran mountain range. The cars and trucks passing by Mumbai Goa highway which look like tiny toy cars. Click photos to capture these moments for a lifetime.
13:00 – it’s time to start the descend talking about the mesmerizing views we saw and helping each other through a bit slippery descend route.
15:00 – We are back at the base where traditional Maharashtrian delicious lunch shall be ready to be served. Get the tummies full after burning calories during the trek.
16:00 – It’s not over yet. Karnala is well known for its diverse species of birds it preserves, and now we’ll try to spot them by talking a walk through the nature trails made inside the sanctuary.
17:30- We start our journey back towards Panvel in a private vehicle, tired but getting a flashback of all the memories we made and all the awe aspiring things/views we saw during the trek.
18:00- It’s time to say to say goodbye to all our fellow Hikers! We disperse with new friends made, new bonds created and memories to cherish for life.

- The Hikers Club reserves all the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice.
- Please do not carry or wear any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. If carried, then we Do Not take any liability for the same.
- The outing has a strict NO Smoking/Drug/Alcohol Policy.
- All the timings mentioned above are tentative.

• If cancellation is done prior to 10 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
• If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded
• After that, no refund will be provided.
