Miro Gavran's work has been translated into forty languages around the world but was inaccessible to the Hindi theatre lovers till Saurabh Srivastava’s adaptation of two of his plays into the language. 

  Now we bring to you the first ever Hindi performances in Mumbai of Croatian play 'Kada Umire Glumac'(1995) as "Ek Actor ki Maut".

  Akshay, a sixty year old amateur actor, has, for almost forty years, obsessively been following the life and work of Ira, a well-known theatre actress.  As her career fades, he invites her to perform with him what he perceives as the play of a lifetime. During the rehearsals of this play, Akshay and Ira both reveal and realize much about themselves and the craft of theatre, and carry the audience along on an emotional journey.
