About the Event
Jama Masjid sits on a hill and gives a commanding view of the entire Shahjahanabad. The mosque was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the royal mosque. The heritage mosque is beautifully lit at night. The walk will take you inside the Jama Masjid, and retell the history, architecture and heritage importance of the mosque. We will also explore the environs around Jama Masjid and visit Chawri Bazaar or the 'Bazaar-e-husn' to explore the kothas of tawaifs.
1. There is no guided fee for children below 10.
2. The ticket to monument (Rs 35/- or less) is not included in the guided fee.
3. The medium of instruction is Hindi and English
4. Please note that in case of unavoidable external reasons such as (weather conditions, political rallies, VIP movement, powercut) the walk may be canceled. The participant has the liberty to take another walk by the company against the payment they have made within 30 days since the date of the registered walk. The company does not have refund policy.
5. The details of the walk are mailed to you a day prior to the walk. Please notify us in case you do not receive it.
