‘The Craftsutra’ presents an exclusive Diwali special workshop at the Sanskriti Kendra, Delhi away from the hustle & bustle of the city. You will be able to choose from a variety of painting techniques, using high quality paints, use of clay, foam, beads etc. to create a further dimension to the fabulous pots. Trained Warli artists will demonstrate the process of painting Warli tribal art designs and patterns and adding those important finishing touches.

Warli paintings are an accurate expression of what one feels and has to say about the natural stories or folklores. Being one of the oldest folklore art forms in India, it is created by the women of Warli and other tribes living in mountainous as well as coastal areas of Maharashtra-Gujarat border.

Note: Lunch & evening tea will be served at the venue, also all the workshop material will be provided to the participants.
