Who doesn't love stories by a campfire?
Grassroutes, along with Kahaanipur bring to you a unique experience that will bring the joys of stories and camping to one place.
'FAR FAR AWAY' is a unique camping adventure like no other - listen to folk tales, while you relax in the background of a beautiful rustic village atop a mountain, just outside Mumbai.

Make memories for a lifetime as you re-discover the joys of family time on this 2-day trip with storytelling sessions spread across. Imagine listening to beautiful stories sitting in a forest grove, by a stream, under the stars, around campfire and at a village. Add to that fun rural activities like chopping wood, grinding rice, learning to make a traditional mud stove, cooking conventional home-cooked food, taking a dip in the mountain river, learning fishing techniques and much more.
This is the best trip that you can give your family!
12:00 p.m. - Arrival and traditional welcome by villagers
12:30 p.m. - Get settled, freshen-up.
01:00 p.m. - Enjoy traditional meals at village houses
02:00 p.m. - Indoor rural activities
03:00 p.m. - Laze under trees or just hang around the campsite
04:00 p.m. - Folk Tales Session 1 at a forest grove
05:00 p.m. - Tea and snacks
05:30 p.m. - Hike to the sunset point
07:00 p.m. - Relax, freshen up and make some new friends
07:30 p.m. - You must be starving by now, let's have some food.
09:00 p.m. - Folk Tales Session 2 around a campfire
10:30 p.m. - Lights out.
Day 2 -
06:30 a.m. - Morning walk to the dam (Its optional, no one is going to drag you out of bed)
08:00 a.m. - Breakfast
09:00 a.m. - Folk Tales Session 3 at the village
10:30 a.m. - Walk to the river, for swimming ofcourse.
12:30 p.m. - Lunch
02:00 p.m. - Head back home. Don't forget to take the happy memories along.
About the campsite - Overlooks a valley, has no light pollution, which means you can lie down under the stars and let the magic of a gazillion stars take your breath away!
About the accommodation - In tents, canvas/camping - which we have ready for you, with nice cleans beds, pillows, bedsheets and blankets to keep you warm at night.
How will you travel - Drive down with your family OR take local transport

We reserve the right to charge 50% of the amount in case for any cancellations received on or after 18.03.2017.
We reserve the right to charge the full amount for any cancellations received on or after 22.03.2017 or in case of a no show.
Cancellations after the booking process is completed are subject to an administration fee of Rs. 750/-.
In case of cancellations due to unavoidable circumstances for participants or cancellation of the event due to factors out of our control, i.e. weather etc. and any other unforeseen reason, we reserve the right to charge a minimum of Rs. 750/-per person and refund the rest.
Payment gateway charges if any, will have to be borne by the participant.
