About the Event
Moderated by Rhodes Scholar Azania Patel, this panel looks at different ways of speaking up about injustices—from storytelling and theatre to social media and art. Panelists Aranya Johar, Gurmehar Kaur, and Sheena Khalid talk about their experiences standing up for what they believe is right, and the pros and cons of doing this in the age of social media.
Moonflower signifies blooming in the dark — it is an independent fundraiser organised by students across India. Moonflower includes a weekend of creative workshops, panel discussions, and music shows, all proceeds from which will go to mutual aid fundraisers. From poetry and music to photography and theatre — there is a little something for everyone. Support us, support yourself, and support those who need it the most.
