Masterclasses
    The Art of Plating

  • Food plating isn’t all Jackson Pollock-esque splotches, painterly smears and perfect quenelles anymore. Modern plating techniques are anything but basic.
Aditi Dugar of Masque teaches you cool plating techniques, using sponges and loofahs to create texture. She was inspired by the level of creativity and finesse in event décor – something she felt was lacking in India’s culinary scene and aims to bridge the gap with her creative plating techniques.
    Food Photography and Styling

  • Learn how to make appetising food even more tempting by mastering lighting, props and camera angles, according to the platform on which you intend to showcase them—Instagram, blog, etc.
Vogue India’s Art Director, Swaminathan Iyer along with Photographer and artist Rohan Hande, known for his fashion photography and mixed-media works, will take you through this creative masterclass.
    Eat Your Way to Beauty

  • The best skincare potions are to be found in…the pantry. Walk through the store and take your pick from kitchen staples like lemon, papayas and avocados that you can then turn into refreshing face masks, makeup removers and hydrating gels.
Vasudha Rai, columnist at the Hindu and author of Glow: Indian Foods, Recipes And Rituals For Beauty, Inside And Out, will guide you through this fun masterclass, bringing to the table 15 years’ experience in the field of health, beauty and wellness.
    Make Your Own Fragrance

  • These are notes you want to take down. Take your pick from citrus, spices and herbs and craft your own perfume using ingredients at Foodhall.
Vogue India’s Beauty Editor, Sneha Mankani, fragrance house Bombay Perfumery, will be your nose guides.
    Froth and Fashion

  • How to make your coffee run runway-ready? We spill the beans.
Priyanka Kapadia, Vogue’s Associate fashion director, shows you how to be on-trend on your casual outings. A cuppa, after all, is meant to be taken seriously.
This will be followed by a detailed masterclass on coffee cocktails which will keep you in high spirits.
    Indian with a Twist

  • From party canapes to full-blown meals, this masterclass will showcase a modern take on classical Indian dishes in a hands-on demo.
A celebrity chef will you show you quirky ways to cook authentic Indian meals.
    Luxe Food 101

  • Turn fine foods like caviar, truffle, rare meats, all available at Foodhall, into more than just occasional indulgences. An educational walk-through will show you how incorporate these ingredients into your cooking and familiarise you with their health benefits.
Rahul Akerkar, head chef of Qualia, will be hosting this session. Akerkar has managed to keep his finger on the pulse of things and followed the rise of modern Indian cuisine.
    Vogue’s Table-setting Workshop

  • Take your dinner table beyond the realm of floral centrepieces, and learn how to take it from Sunday brunch to Christmas dinner with the right accoutrements.
Interior expert Simone Arora, owner of home store Simone, brings her discerning eye to this workshop and shows you how to be the hostess with the mostess.
