The Sanctuary Debate is an annual event organized by Sanctuary Nature Foundation, where renowned experts from various fields come together to debate on issues on environment conservation in today’s day and age. The Sanctuary Global Debate, crafted along the lines of the iconic Oxford Debates, focuses on issues surrounding biodiversity, climate change, and economics. 

The idea is to gather CEOs, policy makers, economists and industrialists in the same room as credible leaders from the environmental and social sectors so that a meaningful dialogue emerges to put out more light than heat for contentious issue.

At the heart of our purpose is conflict resolution, which we hope will result when subjects that usually generate more heat than light are debated in a dignified and orderly fashion. These proceedings have been adapted from the iconic Oxford Union debates.
