Stand up for your right to comedy at Chembur!

This (sometimes situationally) hilarious open mic is hosted this week, by comic Jeet Mody, and features the very funny Abbas Momin and Pooja Ramchandran, who will have you in splits with their jokes that range from silly, to outrageous, to downright dark. We're also bringing a mixed bag of comics from Mumbai's incredible comedy circuit to Chembur for the perfect Wednesday night plans. We're gonna be cracking Chembur up with comedy, and its gonna be a riot. Not that kind. #ChemburJokes

Meet the comics:

Jeet Mody (@modyjeet) is a stand up comedian and a sketch writer who thinks satire will fill the void left by the mediocrity in his day job. His belief that he can earn a living through stand up comedy is his funniest joke till date.

Abbas Momin (@abbasmomin88) is a stand up comedian and humour writer, he’s worked with Weirdass comedy and East India Comedy, has written for Rolling Stone India and GQ, and currently a producer at IVM podcasts.

Pooja Ramchandran (@poojapaath) is a medical genetics expert by day and a stand-up comedian by night because of her love for science, comedy and sleep-deprivation. This edgy comedian may be from Bombay, but her jokes have travelled far and wide. This is what she asked us to type. Her jokes are of the intellectual kind and, as a result, some people don't get her jokes. This is what she believes.
