Gond paintings are known for their rich detail, bright colours, embedded mystery, and a taste of humour. These paintings are found on walls, windows and even floors of the Gond Community because it is a common belief in the Gond community that a good image can earn good luck.

Today the Gond Artists use modern materials and methods brilliantly to represent contemporary scenes and concerns on canvas and paper while keeping true to age-old traditions and style. Today Gond Art is used in creating merchandise, trinkets and tokens around the world.

So join us for a workshop on Gond Art.

This is a two-day workshop on zoom (one and a half hour per day)

Painting Technique.

Day 2

Drawing, painting and detailing of the final composition

Painting – It might not complete during the workshop hours.

We will start and you can complete and send us pictures.

List of Material Needed

2 Sheets – Basic Drawing Paper or any Paper available.

1 A4 size sheet for final Drawing.

Pencil.

Eraser.

Round Brushes – 0/2/4/6 – You may use any that you have at home.

Pen – Pigment pen, Micro-tip pen, Ball pen, Markers or a Sketchpen. If none of the above are available you can use any pen which is available at home.

Colours – Poster colour or Acrylic colours

Date: 8th & 9th August 2020

Time: 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm (It will be a one and a half hours class per day)

It might exceed by 15 mins since we will be teaching the details.

Fees: ₹1200/-

The zoom link will be sent on registered number about 30 mins before the workshop schedule time on WhatsApp. If any participant doesn’t receive the link they can send a WhatsApp message on 7506122332 along with their order id and we will share the link immediately.
