Gubbi, the stage name of Karthik Sundar Gubbi, is a trailblazing Kannada rapper, lyricist, and composer from Bengaluru, India. Known for his multilingual style, Gubbi seamlessly raps in Kannada, English, Hindi, and German, blending conscious rap with playful beats to create a unique sound. Inspired by Eminem and the iconic film 8 Mile, Gubbi began his journey in SG Palya, participating in rap battles across Bengaluru. Originally performing under the name Karnage, he adopted the stage name Gubbi in 2014, a nod to both his surname and hometown. Gubbi’s music is a fusion of genres and cultures.
