Considered a god by guitarists around the world, English guitarist Guthrie Govan is one of the hottest guitar players on the international music scene today. Known for his work with the bands The Aristocrats, Asia, GPS, The Young Punx and The Fellowship, his 2006 solo album Erotic Cakes was recognized as an instant classic. The guy has had top-level touring experience (has toured previously with acts like Asia/GPS, and artists like Steven Wilson), making him one the most in-demand guitar clinician/educators in the world, and was featured on the cover of Guitar Player Magazine in July of 2011. Guthrie is currently on a World Tour with legendary composer Hans Zimmer.He recently toured India (for the second time) with bassist Mohini Dey and drummer Gino Banks.
