A play that refuses to fade away or lose relevance, Hedda Gabler makes us look at ideas of control, power, (self) destruction, and the perils of living in a patriarchal society, by way of its eponymous protagonist and the motley crew of characters that surround her. It is an incisive meditation on one of the most casually thrown around questions of all time - 'What do women want?' 

This is a mildly reheased reading of the play.
