About the workshop

1.      The Workshop is open for all lovers of music and students of Hindustani Classical Music interested in learning Semi Classical Music.

2.       The workshop will briefly introduce the participants as to what is Hindustani classical music, semi-classical music, forms of Semi-classical music, Hori in particular.

3.      students will participate individually.

4.       Recordings and write up will be sent to the participants.

About the artiste

Ms. Harshika Patki is a lawyer by training and a self taught Water Colour Artiste. In Hindustani classical music She is a disciple of Smt. Ushatai Athavale, her grandmother, Late Shri. D. B. Harindra of Bengaluru and shri. Amarendra Dhaneshwar of Gwalior Gharana from Mumbai. She is training students in Hindustani classical Music, conducting Workshops and concerts on classical, semi-classical music, Shri. Purandara Dasara pada and vachanas.
