'I dare you to create.' 

The music-making in this concert will embrace Wayne Shorter’s aphoristic definition of the word 'jazz'. Shorter goes on to say that he imagines a bumble bee fluttering from the jazz flower to the other musical flowers, telling them: ‘don’t forget to evolve, don’t be limited to your narrow view of what life could be…’ 

It can also be said that this concert will employ an experimental aesthetic. There will be a total absence of any predetermined structure. Sounds and silences may occur in any combination of frequency, amplitude, timbre, duration, and morphology. The musical results largely cannot be predicted at the outset.
