International Tabletop Day is an annual community celebration for board games, TTRPGs, and other tabletop games. We've got the whole weekend packed with things to do!

Schedule

Friday

8pm: 💪 Board Games Gauntlet - A light and fun challenge-based event on board games and TTRPGs, like if the Crystal Maze was made for tabletop gamers. We'll also have themed menu of food & drinks!

Saturday:

11am-4pm: 🧩 We have jigsaw puzzles to play, and also a puzzle swap and a speed puzzling tournament with prizes from PieceUp and Jigsaw Nation!

2-4pm: 🌐 Finals of our Pandemic: Survival tournament.

4-7pm: 💌 We have a tournament on the card game Love Letter! We'll teach the rules at the beginning, so it's open to everyone to play.

7pm-11pm: 🎲 We'll end the day with an evening of board games!

Sunday:

10am-1pm: ♟️ We're hosting Bangalore Chess Club's Chess Connect, who are running a team-based format of a chess tournament!

3pm-5pm: ✍️ Karthik is conducting a hands-on workshop on how to make a great D&D character (specifically for players who've never done it before)

5pm-7pm: 📔 Mithun is doing a workshop on Solo-play and DM-less TTRPGs, where he walks you through some specific games as well as some system agnostic tools you can use.

We’re a couple of friends who are trying to build a community around tabletop gaming in Bangalore. We’ve been doing this part time for almost 8 years now.

Who is Playful Pursuits?

We are Bangalore's first jigsaw puzzle meetup group, providing a space for puzzle enthusiasts to come together to solve jigsaws, swap and sell their puzzles, and compete in speed puzzling! We meet in-person every Monday and on the occasional weekend.
