Visual Effects (VFX) is an umbrella term for all kinds of visual enhancement work done digitally. In this 101 styled workshop we learn about the 2D side of post production which will help just about anybody wanting to use creative tools. Topics Covered: What is VFX and how its used, After Effects and it’s uses, Afx Interface, Basic animation, Masking, Keying, Tracking and Effects.

Hardware Requirements:

1. Laptop with Windows 7 or higher or Apple MAC.

2. A USB mouse (A mouse would be ideal as it will be very cumbersome to use the software via the trackpad.)

Software Requirements:

Adobe After Effects CC (Creative Cloud) or a previous version of After Effects installed. Adobe After Effects CC trail version can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website. Participants need to get the software installed before coming to the workshop.

Trainer Profile:

Behram is a passionate learner & tinkerer. He has been an educator in the VFX industry for longer than he cares to remember. He is currently an education consultant (VFX) and is developing applications for the Oculus Virtual Reality head set.
