Kolkata Centre for Creative brings - Introduction to Contemporary Dance - a series of demo sessions for beginners on dance & movement conducted by Meghna Bharadwaj. With an extensive focus on strength building & body alignment, a part of the session’s module will invite students into learning the simultaneity of movement & text.

Meghna Bhardwaj is a Delhi-based dancer, trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance techniques. She is also a dance scholar who has finished her doctorate in Theatre and Performance Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Meghna is currently teaching at the Department of Arts and Performing Arts, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida.
