About Dr. Veena Babu

Dr Veena Babu ( MBBS BSc) graduated three years ago from medical school and is presently a full time medical doctor working for the NHS in London, alongside being a Youtuber and influencer. She is the founder of I:V dance, the leading Bollywood Youtube Channel in the UK ( boasting over 150,000 +subscribers and over 25million+ views). I:V dance resonates the motto of "Let DANCE run through your veins". Just as there is an art to medicine, Dr Veena believes that there is a science to dance!

She has over ten years experience in teaching and performing Bollywood dance and has trained and performed with renowned artists in the UK and abroad. Her expertise includes Bharatnatyam, contemporary and indo-Jazz styles. She presently conducts workshops and choreographs for private events, alongside being a spokesperson for Healthy Living, encouraging the community to invest in 'Movement' and engineering new concepts for Public health England.

During her time at Kings and Imperial , she also published two books ( Medicine Interview and Dentistry Interview - bestseller on amazon) and helped to start a company called medinterview.ltd, where she was COO for 5 years. She understands the pressures of meeting academic deadlines alongside pursuing extracurricular talents and can relate to the students. She wants to share her knowledge and expertise with students in a similar way. Her most recent work involved a collaboration with Prowl active for Tiger Shroff and teaching at ProAcademy alongside artists like Kumari Suraj, Sammi Lee Jayne and Poonam & Priyanka. Further, Dr Veena choreographed the talent round for her most recent student successes; Urvashi Salaria- Mrs India Uk 2018 and Neha Dhull- Miss England 2018 finalist.

Through I:V dance she is half way through a University tour, conducting dance and Time management workshops and is embarking her trip to India with an aim to teach in four different cities.
