JAY SHAN-KARA ! VIDYDHARA !
"Jai" is a lively, dance musical performance of popular dramatizations from Panditraj Jagannath, Suvarantula, Mandarmala, Madanachi Manjiri, Jai Jai Gaurishankar, Swarasamragyi, Bawankhani etc. by the well-known playwright Vidyadhar Gokhale, whose musical theater was his passion and breath. In this program Saptasur Zankarit Bole hi Nandi, Sawan Ghan Ghan Bhajie Hi Bandish, Holikotsava songs, Lavani, Thumri are performed through dance. While theatrical entries from plays such as Suvarnatula, Gauri Shankar, Bawankhani etc. are performed. Also, this program also includes drama titles like Jai Gange Bhagirathi, Angani Parijat Phulla, Jai Shankara Gangadhara, Ratihuni Sunder Madan Manjiri, Rituraj Aaj Vani Aala, Keshi Kelis Majhi Daina, Yeh Mausam Hai Rangi.

This play is a part of Natya Velhal: Opera House Rangamanchavar Marathi Natakanchi Parvani - a Marathi Theatre Festival presented by Royal Opera House, Mumbai in association with Print Partner Maharashtra Times, Radio Partner93.5 RED FM & 106.4 Magic FM and Supported byMumbai Theatre Guide, Astitva and Avid Learning.
The first ever; 4-day festival consisting of 10 plays is designed in a way that the audience gets to witness a variety of themes through the performances ranging from Sangeet Natak, Suspense, Comedy, Thriller, Folk, Lavani, Love story, and Experimental, all under one roof.

- Wheelchair access for ticket holders is available only for Royal Stalls (ground level). Please contact the Box Office at +91 22 2366 8888 for the same.
- The venue does not have elevators to access Dress Circle (1st level at 37 steps from Royal Stalls) and Grand Balcony (2nd level at 78 steps from Royal Stalls).
- Few seats in the Grand Balcony (on either sides) have restricted view of the stage.
- Try to reach the venue 15 minutes prior to the show.
- We do not have parking at the venue, please plan your travel accordingly.
- Food and beverage items are not allowed inside the auditorium.
