Artist

One of the smartest (and tallest) comedians in the India, Gursimran Khamba is the co-founder of popular comedy collective, AIB. He’s been a stand-up comic since 2009, often employing dark and surreal themes. As part of AIB, he has been a part of the collective’s ambitious projects such as AIB Knockout (India’s first ever comedy roast), AIB Diwas (a full-day open-air comedy show), On Air with AIB (the satirical news show telecast on primetime television and Hotstar), and AIB Presents Royal Turds (a Bollywood-themed spoof award show). He has performed several stand-up clubs and corporate shows. As a writer, he ran a hugely popular blog, and contributed to Firstpost, DNA, GQ India, India Today, HT Brunch and more. His television credits include The Indian Television Awards, Jay Hind! and MTV Rock The Vote. Currently, he is working on an Amazon Original show - The Ministry - featuring leading actor Irrfan Khan, set for global release.

With his razor-sharp wit, Kanan is one of India’s most popular sketch and stand-up comedians in the country. The Mumbai-based comic has performed over a 1000 shows around the world and his recent comedy special, Keep It Real, was received with rave reviews. The man (who was only a boy back then) shot to fame with the hit Pretentious Movie Reviews series, with fellow comedian Biswa Kalyan Rath. He also dabbles in sketch comedy (acted in How Insensitive! and the acclaimed mockumentary Better Life Foundation by Them Boxer Shorts) and stand-up (toured India with two hour-long shows: Feeling with Kanan, and All Correct Opinions). He made his Bollywood debut with the 2017 release, Noor. In the same year, he also launched a web series called Keep It Real on Amazon Video. Furthermore, Kanan was part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation!

Can businessmen be funny? Yes. Meet Atul Khatri, a middle-aged businessman-turned-comedian who now makes a living making people laugh harder than they ever have. A former member of one of the country's leading comedy collectives, East India Comedy, Atul has often been spotted on their YouTube series like EIC Outrage, and specials such as EIC vs Bollywood. Bringing his 40+-year-old perspective with every show, he performs regularly at comedy clubs and does private shows in India and abroad. The comedian has showcased his skills at the prestigious Utrecht International Comedy Festival in the Netherlands and Belgium, and at the 8th Annual Hong Kong International Comedy Festival in 2014. CNN-IBN recently rated him as one of the Top 20 Comedians in India to Watch Out For, post winning the competition CEOs Got Talent.

He sings, he dances, and when neither are enough, he tells jokes. One of the most recognized faces of Indian comedy, Abish Mathew was one of the first Indian Youtube stars, who has over 30 million views on his channel. These videos include sketches, stand-up, and of course, his hit talk-show, Son of Abish, which has featured stars like AIB, Vishal Dadlani, Kanan Gill, Badshah, Taapsee Pannu, Cyrus Broacha, and Vir Das. Son of Abish is now into its third season and brings with it something different each time! The stand-up comedian has performed 1000+ shows across India and the world, including New York, Canada and the prestigious Utrecht International Comedy Festival (Holland). Abish has created content for brands like Breezer Vivid and Netflix, and his brand of clean humor has won over crowds in clubs, colleges and corporates alike. He made his Bollywood debut in the film Meri Pyaari Bindu in 2017. Presently, Abish is touring the country with the comedy show LOLStar. Furthermore, he also featured on a stand up showcase called Special Showcase with fellow comedian Zakir Khan. At the same time, he is also part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine-episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation!

A journalist by qualification, Gaurav Kapoor is another by-product of the famous Bollywood Kapoor family. Just kidding. The comedian is a sweet Delhi boy who does what he is expected to – hold a respectable job (he has one in retail) and make people laugh when needed (his secret profession). His razor sharp wit and candid humor lead him to win almost every open-mic he has ever participated in (yes, he is that good), including the Big Mic, Canvas Laugh Club, Chalta Hai and Buzz Off. So good that he opened for the world famous comic Russell Brand on his Indian tour. His favorite topics to talk about on stage are Jaat culture, people who buy Royal Enfields and poverty (mostly his own), a variety that makes the Indian audiences fall in love with him. And with his recent spelling change (Kapur to Kapoor), he has got all the validation he needs, and is ready to take over the world.

Neeti brings to the English stand-up comedy scene in India what it sorely lacks – A FEMALE PERSPECTIVE. Her comedy has a universal appeal across borders, cultures and age groups. Being part of the English comedy scene since its inception in India, she is a homegrown talent who enjoys the reputation of bexing “that cheeky girl”. Drawing influences from real life, humans and our innate Indian-ness, Neeti’s comedy is an honest and clean account of her experiences and feelings.

Shankar Chugani is a stand up comic based in Bangalore. He has been performing across the country for the last 5 years. You can watch him on Amazon Prime's Comicstaan or catch him live at a comedy show. As a kid, Shankar Chugani was distressingly short and easily intimidated. Now, he's still short, but less easily intimidated, and busy making people laugh. Over the last 5 years, Shankar's high energy performances have entertained people across the country - from small open mics to massive audiences in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. Come join them to find out what it feels like to be a small town boy forced to dance as a girl, amongst other stories

Part-time stock-broker, a dance enthusiast and a full-time Gujju who performs comedy on the weekends, Sonali Thakker is an exciting new comedy talent in the town. Talking about grave topics like travelling, shopping and chaprigiri in her sets, Sonali's has performed on the biggest of stages including Canvas Laugh Club and NCPA. In 2017, she took her special 'Almost There' to stage across the country.
