Kaas Plateau also known as the "Kaas Pathar" is situated in the Western Ghat’s Sahyadri range, 22 km from Satara city in the state of Maharashtra, India. The name Kaas originates from the Kaasa tree. As the leaves of this tree mature, they turn from green to red. Recently this site was declared a “WORLD HERITAGE SITE” due to the excellent biodiversity present here. Apart from numerous varieties of wildflowers (some of which are endemic to Kaas only) this biodiversity site also shelters many insects, beautiful birds, amphibians, reptiles, and some major mammalian species. Visiting this ‘heaven on earth’ is always an outstanding experience.

12:00 am Pickup from Hotel 3 Star, Kharghar

12.15 am Mcd Kalamboli, Panvel (Last Pickup Point)

06:30 am Breakfast and introduction and bring your camera out for photography

07:30 am Start the tour of Kaas, explore the area, and enjoy clicking. (Guide Tour.) 

11:00 am Keep Walking towards Kaas Lake and Enjoy Water flowers, Sit for awhile

01:00 pm Reach Back to Hotel and Enjoy Local hot Delicacy food (veg/ Non-veg)

03:00 pm Start our return journey toward Mumbai

06:30 pm Evening Refreshment Stop. (TTMM)

10:00 pm Reach Mumbai
