Kalamkari is a Textile Painting. It is a 12-step process which involves painting with Natural Dyes.

The Tree of life workshop is a detailed workshop for understanding the motifs and rendering them in Kalamkari Painting style on paper.

Join us as we teach you the basics of Kalamkari Painting, a 300 years old art passed down and evolved in the corridors of time.

This is a two-day online workshop (one and a half hours each day on zoom).

This is a live session and no recordings will be provided.

The workshop will be conducted in English.

Basic Drawing Paper or any Paper available

1 A4 size sheet for final composition

Pencil

Eraser

Scale

Pen – Pigment pen, Micro-tip pen, Ball pen or any pen that you have at home.

Coffee / Tea

Watercolors, Poster Colors

Paint brushes 0,2,4,8

Date: 1st and 2nd September, 2020

Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm

It might exceed by 15 mins since we will be teaching the details.

Fees: ₹1200/-

Tickets once sold will not be refunded.

The zoom link will be sent on registered number about 30 mins before the workshop schedule time on WhatsApp.

The artwork may or may not finish during the session. We shall start and finish as much as possible and send you a complete image of what is taught during the session.
