Kantha Work is a traditional art, originating from West Bengal. Earlier practiced by the rural women, by using recycled clothes and fabric. Given the traditional nature this art is simple yet elegant.

Come join us for a one-day workshop where you will learn the beautiful art of hand embroidery.

The workshop will be conducted in English.

An Embroidery Ring

Embroidery Threads – Cotton only (Anchor threads)

Cloth: Any cotton cloth. -Example: An old handkerchief, a piece from your old dupatta or bedsheet or any cotton cloth available at home.

Size of the cloth: Just a handkerchief size is more than enough.

A pair of scissors

Needle: 7no. or 5no. preferably

Pencil

Date: 22nd October, 2020

Time: 4.00pm to 6.30pm IST

It might exceed by 15 mins since we will be teaching the details.

Fees: 700/-

The zoom link will be sent on registered number about 30 mins before the workshop schedule time on WhatsApp. If any participant doesn’t receive the link, they can send a WhatsApp message on 7506122332 along with their order id and we will share the link immediately.

The artwork may or may not finish during the session. We shall start and finish as much as possible and send you a complete image of what is taught during the session.

We are more than happy to teach. Please note if time permits, we will answer all your queries during the class or try to email them to you.
