The play revolves around a middle-aged man, Mr. Jhunjhunwaala, who like every other man strives to climb up the social ladder and establish his front in the society. For this, he attempts to learn the ‘gentlemanly’ art of fencing, dance, music, philosophy etc to become the ‘ideal man’ of high class. His relentless efforts creates a comedy of manners and gives a subtle message in an exhilarating drama.
