About the Event

Situated amidst the sea and surrounded by water on all sides, Kolaba Fort or Alibaug Fort is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Alibaug. It is a 300-year old fort which was once chief naval stations during the reign of Shivaji Maharaj in Maharashtra. The fort is 25-feet high and only 2 km from the Alibaug shores and is accessible on foot during low tide. The most interesting feature of the fort is that despite being a part of a saltwater body, the fort has a fresh-water well. Book your tickets to admire this isolated yet spectacular military fortification located amidst the Arabian sea!
