Kurumba Painting Workshop

The Kurumba art is the traditional ancient art of India. It belongs to the Kurumba tribe mainly from Tamil Nadu. The art is traditionally practiced by the male members of the temple caretakers, or priests of the Kurumba village. The women of the family contribute to the decorations at home in the form of borders around the door and windows and Kolam's on the floor.
