Registration Process

Step 1: Payment

Online Payment: Book your seat by making an online payment on the event website.

UPI/NEFT Payment: Alternatively, participants can make the payment via UPI or NEFT to the Ramblers India Current Account. It is essential to share the transaction reference for verification.

Step 2: Fill Participation Disclaimer Form

After payment confirmation, participants will receive a participation disclaimer form.

Fill out the form accurately with the required details.

Step 3: Travel Coordination

On the day of departure, a WhatsApp group will be created for registered participants.

The group will facilitate travel coordination and ensure smooth communication among participants.

Trek Checklist

Clothing and Footwear:

Trekking/Hiking Shoes: Sturdy shoes with a strong grip, suitable for the terrain.

Full-Sleeve Quick-Dry Shirt/T-shirt: Helps keep you dry and comfortable.

Full-Length Hiking Trousers: Protects your legs from scratches and insect bites.

Things to Carry in a Daypack:

Water: Minimum of 2 liters to stay well-hydrated.

Cap/Hat: Protects your head and face from the sun.

Food Items: Fruits, dry fruits, energy bars, and healthy snacks for sustenance.

Toiletry Kit: Basic hygiene items such as soap, toothpaste, and sunscreen lotion.

Extra Set of Clothes: Useful in case you get wet or need to change.

Extra Pair of Socks: Keeps your feet dry and comfortable.

Flip-Flops: For use during travel.

Hiking Pole: Provides stability and support, especially on uneven terrain.

Personal Medicines: Carry necessary medications and a basic first-aid kit.

Identity Proof: Carry a valid government-issued ID card.

Participation Disclaimer

Mandatory Disclaimer Form: Accurate details must be provided in the online disclaimer form. Incorrect details will require refilling; no exceptions will be made.

ID Card Requirement: Participants must carry an ID card for safety purposes.

Punctuality: Respect the schedule and other participants' time; avoid causing delays.

Parental Consent for Minors: Participants under 18 must have parental consent to participate.

Itinerary Modifications/Cancellations: Participants will be informed in advance of any changes or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.

New Rules/Prohibitions: Ramblers India and trek leaders are not responsible if visited places have new rules or are prohibited due to natural calamities.

Winter Wear Recommendation: It is recommended to carry winter wear, as temperatures drop significantly after sunset, especially when traveling in an AC vehicle.

Train Travel:

Train travel arrangements are subject to ticket availability.

Alternate trains may be booked, and departure times may vary.

Tatkal tickets in the mentioned class are not guaranteed.

Extra charges apply if tickets are upgraded.

If train tickets from Mumbai to Ahmedabad or Ahmedabad to Mumbai are unavailable, participants will be informed to arrange their own travel. The package will then apply from Ahmedabad to Ahmedabad, and the remaining amount will be refunded.

Accommodation:

Private sharing rooms for couples are subject to availability and will incur additional charges.

Weather and Organizer Authority:

The event may be canceled or rescheduled due to unexpected weather changes.

Ramblers India, trek leaders, or local guides will not be responsible if entry is restricted by local authorities or governing bodies.

Expense Responsibility:

Participants are responsible for expenses not mentioned in the inclusions.

If the location changes, participants must pay any additional costs incurred, as notified by our team.

Misconduct and Prohibited Activities:

Misconduct will not be tolerated.

Strictly no alcohol consumption, smoking, or any kind of intoxication.

Personal Hygiene:

Avoid using deodorant or perfume on the event day.

Strictly adhere to Leave No Trace principles; do not litter plastic.

Facility Information:

Basic washrooms are available at all stay facilities.

Group Coordination and Cooperation:

Participants must maintain discipline and cooperate with fellow trekkers.

Safety Disclaimer:

While safety is a priority, Ramblers India and its trek leaders, along with hired local guides, are not responsible for severe injuries or fatalities.

Withdrawal:

Participants are liable for any emergency evacuation costs and legal proceedings arising from accidents or injuries.

Ramblers India, its trek leaders, and hired local guides will not be held responsible for such incidents.

Liability & Risk:

If a participant withdraws from the activity at any stage, they will be solely responsible for making their travel arrangements.

Our team will not be liable for transportation, lodging, or other related expenses due to a participant’s decision to exit.

Personal Belongings:

Ramblers India is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

Participants must take personal responsibility for their items and exercise caution.

Payment and Registration:

Participants are responsible for bearing convenience fees charged by payment gateways.
