The Madhubani painting is said to be one of the most famous art forms that originated from India. It is often practiced by people in the region of Nepal and Bihar. The Madhubani painting is also popularly referred to as the Mithila art. These paintings often have characteristics like complex geometrical patterns. They are also well known for the representation of ritual content on special occasions like festivals and religious rituals. This particular type of art was used by the women to decorate their house walls and doors so as to seek God’s blessing for peace and prosperity.
